HERE FOR THE BOLD ONES. THE ONES WHO START THINGS

The 3 communities shaping what it means to be young and gifted in Ghana are the bold tech startup founders, social entrepreneurs, and the spirited community of emerging creatives/artists. Ako Adjei Park is creating a home for these bold thinkers. Our vision of a live, work, play enclave in a 2 sq km area of Osu Ako Adjei is taking shape with a planned development of 15 buildings designed to elevate the experience of living the life of a creator and builder in Accra.

Driving the idea of living with intent and creating purposefully, Ako Adjei Park is co-creating this sustainable community with open workspaces, living spaces, galleries, offices, community event spaces, restaurants, rooftop gardens, gyms, etc. Our work is meant to inspire the city with original ideas for exploring new city landscapes and sharing a vision of what Accra could be. Here’s to the dreamers… those doing hard things. For you, Accra Starts Here.

IDEAS
GROW
HERE

The community that is Ako Adjei Park thrives on ideas and everything they represent. Ideas are the reason for our existence, and AAP is looking to amplify and transform ideas across three major fields: social impact, art, and the growing tech economy.

We’re all about exploring the potential and the endless possibilities that stem from a single thought. Being a part of the AAP community is synonymous with embracing one’s passions, nurturing aspirations that change the status quo, and relishing an impact that knows no bounds.

Power through the craziness of Accra with AAP: disrupt existing notions, build on ideas, and connect with like-minded people in a vibrant environment that allows you to live, work AND play.

MAKE IT HOME.

FIND YOUR SPACE.

WORK:
ACTIVATED WORKSPACES

The basis of all AAP workspaces is our modern, Pinterest-inspired vibe, executed by local artisans looking to redefine what local artistry can be.

CONNECT:
INDULGENT SPACES

After a long day of work work work, there’s bound to be that inner cry for experiences that keep you alive outside laptop screens and WiFi passwords. Play Accra features AAP’s vision for indulgence: hosting some of the city’s A-list festivals & calendar events.

8AAP, also known as Oko, welcomes a community of diverse interests. Oko & Akuetteh is where everyone calls their home, from tech ecosystem players to food enthusiasts. These buildings feature office spaces, meeting rooms, with a rooftop that offers visitors a 180-degree view of the coast. Envision a green, relaxed, and breezy rooftop, coming alive effortlessly to match any setup with ease.

5AAP - Lassey

Designed as part of a multi-unit complex with 2 adjacent units on the same lot, 5AAP is the big brother to 2 other smaller units. It shares its identity of timber cladding with its neighbour, 4AAP. Rocking short stone gabion walls, Lassey welcomes everyone to sit by the street and enjoy the community vibe.

1AAP - YAOLE

Yaole, a building with history dating back to the 70s, underwent a 2015 renovation that breathed new life into it. Originally constructed by Ako Adjei, it now blends heritage with modernity through the addition of glass and timber elements. Hosting world leaders like Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, and Mark Rutte, Yaole radiates a distinguished and sage energy, centered around its ever-giving Mango tree, a symbolic town square.

A renovation project from 2015, Yaole has lived! First built in the 70s, this building has seen the best of times in the Ako Adjei neighborhood.

Built by Ako Adjei himself (the inspiration of our company), Yaole is the OG of our portfolio. It radiates history, and key aspects of the design are preserved as new elements like glass and timber are added to give it fresh new life.

Yaole’s ever-giving Mango tree is the de-facto town square of our community. True to form, she has had the privilege of hosting 3 world leaders; Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, and Mark Rutte! Talk of distinguished. Yaole oozes sage energy without trying.

4AAP - The Container

Designed as part of a modular experiment, The Container is engineered from 3 40-foot shipping containers with reinforced concrete and steel rooftop. The Container is home to our communal rooftop space and houses The Dawadawa Restaurant; an afro-fusion dining restaurant and fine-dining curator. The Container, with its eclectic yellow facade and rooftop, is perfect for sundowners and catching good vibes with a community of creators.

3AAP - The Garage

From what seems like a purely decorative space to an organizational event venue, The Garage breathes life into programs and people alike, a true sanctuary for our ‘Live, Work, & Play’ mantra.

If any building has birthed ideas within the AAP enclave, it is The Garage. Taking up the baton as the Maker’s Space of the community from Yaole,

The Garage features an amazing and accommodating workspace that sets it apart: a unique workspace where we take baby steps at doing hard things.
